I'm a weaver who loves color and texture. I began this blog to post my weavings, intersections, and sketches as they come along...

Finally wove off the scarf (or is it a small wrap?) and cut it off the loom tonight. Now, for the knotting.... On Saturday, I'll be helping with a watercolor painting workshop taught by Carolyn Loutzenhiser, sponsored by the Visual Arts Alliance of McPherson. Something completely new for me!
I'm a weaver who can't get enough of colors, textures, and intersections. I use mostly cotton, wool, silk, linen, and anything with delicious texture. And, I confess, I really like things small and simple.
Many of my weavings can be seen at the gallery of the Visual Arts Alliance of McPherson (VAAM), which is located at 223 South Main St., in the McPherson Opera House, in downtown McPherson.
